Job Position -  Associate Engineer

Job Type - Full-Time.

Salary -  up to ₹5 LPA*

Responsibilities.

• Timely Escalation of issues
• Support existing High Availability & DR Solutions (Log shipping, Availability groups, Clustered instances).  
• User and access management (grant and revoke permissions)
• Be first level of contact for database related issues
• Follow incident management process
• Installation and configuration of SQL Server (2014 & higher versions)
• Creation and decommission of databases for Prod and non-prod environments
• Database backup and restore processes
• MS SQL Server job monitoring and Job schedules management                                                                                    
• Disk space issue resolution

skill required.

• Hands on experience on Remote Monitoring of database servers
• Exposure to VMWare or Virtual Server/ Virtual PC would be added value
• Knowledge on MySQL & PostgreSQL is a plus
• Works with global and multicultural teams
• Administrative skill on any relational database engine, MS SQL 2012 or higher preferred
• Monitor production systems and provides support for production related issues in a 24×7 environment
• Knowledge of database backup & recovery
• Experience with any cloud database platform is a plus

Criteria.

• A Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field with relevant experience.
• 0.6 – 1 year of experience with Database Technology preferable with MSSQL
